Application of VFD in food packaging machine

1.Overview
With the improvement of automation, the operation, maintenance and daily maintenance of packaging machines are more convenient and simple, reducing the professional skills requirements for operators. The quality of product packaging is directly related to the temperature system, the speed accuracy of the main engine, and the stability of the tracking system.
2. Working principle
The control core of the packaging machine is the tracking system, which adopts forward and reverse bidirectional tracking to further improve the tracking accuracy. After the machine is running, the film mark sensor continuously detects the film mark (color mark), and the tracking micro switch of the mechanical part detects the position of the machine. The above two signals are sent to the PLC. After program operation, the output Y1 (forward tracking) and Y2 (reverse tracking) of the PLC control the forward and reverse tracking of the tracking motor, and the errors in the production process of the packaging materials are discovered in time and can be accurately compensated and corrected, avoiding the waste of packaging materials.
3. Electrical system composition of automatic packaging machine
Although the transmission system used in the food packaging machine has a relatively simple application function, it has high requirements for the dynamic performance of the transmission. The system requires faster dynamic following performance and high stable speed accuracy. Therefore, the dynamic technical indicators of the frequency converter must be considered, and high-performance frequency converters must be selected to meet the process requirements.
(1) The main control circuit is composed of the frequency converter and programmable controller (PLC) as the control core.
(2) The temperature control circuit is composed of intelligent temperature control meter, solid-state relay, thermocouple assembly, etc., with accurate temperature control, intuitive display and convenient setting.
(3) Multi-point tracking and detection are realized by photoelectric switches, electromagnetic proximity sensors, etc.
