How to Choose and Install a suitable VFD for your machine?

There are 4 Steps to follow when you choose a AC DRIVE for your machine as below, this will help you to choose a right frequency inverter.

1. Functional Requirements

You should consider the VFD’s Control mode,input and output control terminal functions,frequency setting method, etc.and check if it can match with your machine.

2. Performance Requirements

Voltage level(220V or 380V), overcurrent capacity, response speed, frequency accuracy, line length requirements are also important factors for your equipments.

3. Environmental Requirements

a. Relative ambient temperature -10℃~+40℃;

b. Relative humidity: 20%~90%RH;

c. Derating for altitudes above 1000 meters;

d. Vibration acceleration should be limited to 0.6g

4. Competitive product reference

If you want to replace a new inverter, you can refer and check the  specifications and models of the old VFD.

And also ,there are some conditions should be considered when you install an inverter.

1)No corrosive, flammable and explosive gases and liquids.

2)No dust, floating fibres and metal particles

3)No vibration of the installation base is solid.

4)Avoid direct sunlight.

5) No electromagnetic interference.
