Frequency inverter applied in PV Solar Pumps
Photovoltaic pumping system is an integrated system of light, machine and electricity which utilizes solar panels to convert solar energy directly into electricity and then converts it into alternating current (AC) through the inverter to drive motors and pumps.
The system is widely used in desert management, residential life, agricultural irrigation, green watering, grassland animal husbandry, scenic fountains, water treatment projects.
Ⅰ.Photovoltaic water pumping system has the following features:
1. The photovoltaic water pumping system belongs to full-automatic operation and no need for manual guarding. The system consists of photovoltaic battery (solar substrate), storage battery (according to the customer's demand), solar frequency converter, water pumps, water storage device etc.
2.Adjust the pump speed according to the change of sunshine intensity to let the output power is close to the maximum power of the inverter. when the sunshine is sufficient, ensure that the pump speed does not exceed the rated speed. when the sunshine is insufficient, set the minimum operating frequency to meet or automatically stop running.
3. The water pump is driven by a three-phase AC motor and pumps water from deep wells, connecting it into water pools or directly to the irrigation system. Different types of water pumps can be used according to the actual system requirements and installation conditions,
4. Cost-effective solutions can be provided according to different needs of regions and customers.
Ⅱ.Example of how to calculate the number of solar panels required based on inverter power
eg.
①SW100-7R5G3B:7.5kw 3phase 380V
②the solar panel/pc: 24V,340W
STEP 1: According to Voltage
Solar panels voltage =Inverter voltage*1.15
Inverter DC voltage=AC voltage*1.414
380*1.414*1.15/24≈26pcs
STEP2:According to Kilowatt
Solar panel kilowatt=Inverter kilowatt*1.3
7500W*1.3=9750W
9750/340≈29pcs
So, finally the solar panels qty about 27pcs series connection.
