Application of frequency converters in brick-making machinery


1. Principles and characteristics of variable frequency speed regulation:

The speed of an asynchronous motor is proportional to the frequency, and changing the frequency can smoothly change the motor speed. For a frequency converter, its frequency can be adjusted arbitrarily within the range of 0~600Hz, so the speed of the drive motor can be adjusted within any range. The variable frequency speed regulation of brick-making equipment uses this principle to achieve stepless speed change. The frequency control of brick-making equipment has the following characteristics:

(1) It can easily meet the frequency regulation needs and meet the production process requirements;

(2) The motor starts smoothly, has a wide speed regulation range, small mechanical impact, long life and easy maintenance;

(3) The starting current is small and the impact on the power grid is small;

(4) The energy transfer efficiency is high, saving electricity and good economy;

(5) The motor temperature rise is low, which is conducive to the long-term stable operation of the motor;

(6) It has a variety of perfect protection functions such as overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage and lack of equalization to ensure the safety of the motor;

(7) The inverter has a unique AVR function, which can still output sufficient voltage to drive the motor even when the power grid voltage is low.

According to the actual situation on site and customer needs, two equipments with relatively large impact on process and efficiency were modified on site. The equipment conditions are as follows:

Mixer motor--equipped with SW200-160G3 inverter

 Extruder motor--equipped with SW200-400G3 inverter

5. On-site process characteristics and transformation points:

Whether it is a mixer motor or an extruder motor on site, the inverter starts running to 50 Hz first. Then the clutch decides whether to load according to the process and production requirements. During the on-site debugging process, due to the particularity of the load, the inverter gave out overvoltage and overcurrent fault alarms during the clutch loading process. This problem was solved by repeatedly adjusting parameters, performing motor parameter self-learning, and changing the inverter control mode.
