The role of frequency conversion technology in steel rolling process

In the process of using pressure to process steel, we often use steel rolling, a processing method that can change the shape between rotating rollers. According to different processing methods, steel rolling can be divided into hot rolling, cold rolling, longitudinal rolling, cross rolling, cross rolling, periodic rolling, spinning rolling, bending and forming, etc.

There are two main purposes of these treatment processes. One is to process materials such as steel plates, strips, wires and various steel sections into the required shapes.

The other is to improve the internal quality of steel by changing the shape of the materials through processing, thereby promoting Steel quality improves.

High-level steel rolling process relies heavily on precision equipment, especially high-quality steel requires special processing technology.

Therefore, the steel rolling process has very strict requirements on the performance of the inverter.

As the input part of operating process parameters, HMI is a human-computer interaction interface. Different steel coiling requirements can be achieved by inputting different parameters.

PLC serves as the controller for computing control and coordinating the work of each inverter. In order to meet the high-speed responsiveness, the system uses PLC and frequency converter for PROFIBUS-DP protocol communication.
