How to reduce the impact of cable length on the inverter and motor system?

In order to reduce the impact of cable length on the inverter and motor system, the following measures can be taken:

· Select cables reasonably

· Increase the cross-sectional area of the cable: The larger the cross-sectional area of the cable, the smaller the resistance, which can effectively reduce the voltage drop and power loss during current transmission.

· Select low-impedance cables: The use of low-impedance cables with special materials and structures can further reduce the resistance and reactance of the cable, and reduce the attenuation and reflection of high-frequency signals in the cable.

Optimize inverter settings

· Reduce the carrier frequency: The lower the carrier frequency, the smaller the capacitive current of the cable, thereby reducing the high-frequency loss and interference caused by the cable length. However, it should be noted that too low a carrier frequency may cause the motor noise to increase, and it needs to be weighed and adjusted according to the actual situation.

· Adjust the output voltage: According to the cable length and motor characteristics, appropriately increase the output voltage of the inverter to compensate for the voltage drop during cable transmission and ensure that the motor can obtain sufficient voltage for normal operation.

·Install auxiliary equipment

·Output reactor: Installing an output reactor on the output side of the inverter can suppress the high-frequency harmonics output by the inverter, reduce the capacitive current of the cable, and improve the stability of the system.

·Filter: Installing a filter can effectively filter out the high-frequency noise signal output by the inverter, reduce electromagnetic interference, improve the anti-interference ability of the system, and ensure the stable operation of the motor.

·Rationally layout the system

·Shorten the cable length

·Separate cable laying: Lay the cable between the inverter and the motor separately from other signal lines and control lines to avoid electromagnetic interference.
